WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR RIDING ACADEMY EXPERIENCE
Now’s the perfect time to get ready for Riding Academy. Get ready for the classroom and range experiences.
GET LICENSED
Designed for active riders who are not yet licensed - the Intermediate Rider Licensing Course is a bring your own bike, two-day class where you'll refine your riding skills and sharpen your riding mindset. Successful completion of the course earns a license waiver that may excuse you additional on-motorcycle testing at your DMV. Simply present this waiver at your DMV to add a motorcycle endorsement to your license.
Riders who complete the Harley-Davidson® Riding Academy Course can take advantage of special financing options which include no down payment or rates as low as 3.49%* and flexible terms.

Need to Know
The H-D® dealer where you sign up for the course will determine the exact cost.
- Motorcycle endorsement, permit or license (check with the H-D® dealer for details)
- Proof of valid motorcycle insurance
You'll need to bring the following:
- A heavy, long-sleeve shirt or jacket
- Jeans, chaps, or leather pants
- Over-the-ankle, sturdy footwear
- Full-fingered gloves
- A helmet that meets DOT requirements
- Eyewear
For the riding portion, you will ride a Harley-Davidson® Street 500.
