
Learn to Ride
Have you had the dream of learning to ride a motorcycle, or just want to get back in the saddle after too many years away?
Now is your chance. Wildcat Harley-Davidson® offers Rider's Education Classes most weekends during the riding season.
You will train in a low-pressure enviroment on a closed course here at Wildcat Harley-Davidson®.

In the Basic Rider Course, you will learn:
- The Basic Rider Course is a 14 to 15 hour program, which provides classroom and actual motorcycle operator training in a controlled, off-street environment.
- The basics: what to wear, how to start and stop your motorcycle, and motorcycle controls. Street strategies to avoid trouble and stay safe.
- How to maneuver your motorcycle in tough situations. Swerving, avoiding collisions, special situations, lane changes, passing, and avoiding hazards.
- No experience is necessary; a good sense of balance is required (you must be able to ride a bicycle).
- No bike, no promblem. We furnish motorcycles for students to use for the riding course.
- To have more fun by riding your motorcycle safely.
Required Safety Gear for class:
- Helmet – DOT approved (Loan helmets available; personal helmets must be approved by RiderCoach. No half-shell helmets used in training.)
- Eye protection (glasses or sunglasses)
- Over the ankle boots or shoes (preferably leather)
- Long pants (denim or material of equal or better durability)
- Long-sleeved shirt or jacket
- Full-fingered gloves
With successful completion the student is given a card that will waive the road test for getting their license. Also, some insurance companies offer a discount for completion of the course.
